Universal Yoga Methodology
Created and taught by the world-renowned Andrey Lappa, the Universal Yoga curriculum shows the extreme depth of a seasoned master. However, it is delivered in a logical system that can be used by anyone who is dedicated to exploring their full yoga potential.
The Universal Yoga Method integrates all systems of yoga, empowering you with the confidence and skills necessary to inspire your students. This style unites several existing classic lineages, in-particular Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa, integrated with yogic philosophy, physical asana and monastic techniques. It also provides a deeper understanding of how each kosha or ‘shell’ interconnects with the others, providing total balance and unification of self.
Students will take part in a highly intensive program split into three sections.
Part 1 sets the foundation, concentrating mostly on asana. Part 2 moves deeper into Vinyasa, yogic history, philosophy and meditation. Part 3 puts extra focus on energy, kundalini and consciousness.
The core benefit of this method lies in adapting to continuous change, so your practice becomes incredibly powerful based on whatever your current motivations, goals and perspective are.
This intensive 300 hour journey is designed for yoga practitioners, serious students and current teachers who seek a deeper understanding of their learning path.
All students of yoga are welcome, regardless of background or practice style. It is recommended to have plenty of experience in personal practice as a pre-requisite.
