WHAT IS CHAMPISSAGE

Do you suffer from headaches or migraines? Are your neck and back constantly stiff? Does your mind feel fuzzy or foggy and you just can’t seem to shake it? If any of these things sound like you, you may want to consider giving Champissage Massage a try!

What is champissage massage?

Champissage massage is an ancient, Ayurvedic form of Indian massage that focuses on the head, scalp, face, neck and shoulders. This form of massage uses firm and gentle rhythm to release tension and pain in the muscles as well as energetic blocks in this area.

CM is believed to help improve a variety of health conditions including joint problems, migraines and headaches, chronic neck and shoulder pain, congestion and sinus issues, lymphatic problems , anxiety and stress.

How does it work?

Champissage works by combining massage with a subtle form of energy work. The massage helps to release muscle tension while the energy work helps to balance energy imbalances in the top three chakras.

During our day to day lives, we are constantly putting stress on our bodies, particularly the upper portion. When we work at computers, we tend to sit with our upper body out of alignment to reach the keyboard. This causes the muscles in our shoulders, neck and head to tighten which often leads to chronic pain.

During a champissage massage, you will be seated in a comfortable chair and fully clothed. The session will involve the practitioner massaging your scalp, neck, face, entire head, shoulders and upper arms. While the practitioner is massaging you, they will also be energetically cleansing your crown chakra, third-eye chakra and throat chakra. The combination of these two things helps to release tension in the physical body while promoting healthy and balanced energy flow in the Subtle Body.

Here at Vikasa, we believe in a holistic lifestyle philosophy. During your stay with us, you can visit our bliss spa where you can receive this form of massage. Your body and energy will be encouraged to heal and relax as our practitioner works with your muscles and chakras. Join us on a yoga vacation and experience this unique healing for yourself.
