The Power of Self-Belief: 3 Tips to Activate Your Inner Super Hero

THE POWER OF SELF-BELIEF

3 TIPS TO ACTIVATE YOUR INNER SUPER HERO

Let’s do a quick check.

Do you still believe in Santa Claws?
Sorry to break it to you but it was all a lie ?

How about the earth being flat or at the centre of the universe?
Yep, you guess it, those collective beliefs were wrong too.

My point is this:

BELIEFS, BE THEY INDIVIDUAL BELIEFS OR COLLECTIVE BELIEFS, CAN OFTEN BE WRONG AND MISLEADING.

Most people under achieve in life, stay stuck in negative patterns, repeat habits and feel disconnected because of the thoughts and the voice inside their head. In the end they don’t believe that can achieve anything more then what they already have.

Worse yet, millions of people suffer with negative beliefs. Let me give you some examples:

  • I’m not good enough
  • I’m stupid
  • I’ll never succeed
  • I’m a failure
  • I’m ugly (fat/small/tall/awkward/clumsy)

Beliefs do not always represent what is true and factual. In fact our beliefs are based on perceptions of reality, we are shaped by our early experiences in life and by the environment we were born into.
Just like the earth being flat, you are not stupid, ugly, or any other negative story tape looking around in the back of your mind.

So how do we get out of this negative thinking and create more confidence and a stronger belief system within us?

POSITIVE THINKING 101

Positive thoughts are transformed into positive beliefs. They can be powerful in shaping our life, mind, heart and character.

Positive thinking, meditation, Power Self-Belief

HERE’S THREE TIPS SO THAT YOU CAN THINK MORE POSITIVE AND CHANGE THE BELIEFS IN YOUR HEAD:

#1 Only use positive words when talking.

If you’re constantly telling yourself “I can’t do this”, you may convince yourself that’s the truth. Replace these negative words with positive ones instead. Tell yourself you will do your best or that you will try your hardest instead.

#2 Push out all feelings that aren’t positive.

Don’t let negative thoughts and feelings overwhelm you when you’re feeling down. Even if it’s only for a few hours a day, push your negativity aside and only focus on the good things in your life.

#3 Use words that evoke strength and success.

Try filling your thoughts with words that make you feel strong, happy and in control of your life. Make a concentrated effort to focus on these words rather than those that make you feel like you are failing or incompetent.

Your thoughts become emotions, which in turn make you act in a given way, creating habitual patterns in your life. Choose thoughts that support your growth. Be your best friend. Learn to observe your negative mindset and release the patterns that cause you harm, that bring you down and make you doubt your inner strength.

Discover your super hero. These 3 key tips will help you stay on track. Off you go to save, if not Gotham City, at least Yourself.
